Brianne and Kevin's wedding was long over-due. Because Kevin has been serving in the Army and has done two tours over-sea's, they've had to reschedule their wedding 3 times. You know what they say, 3 times the charm. Having so many obstacles and having to wait so long, I think added something extra special to the day. Kevin arrived home the Sunday before the big day.
Because he arrived home just days before the wedding we did their e session out at Gibson Ranch on Wednesday. Gibson Ranch is special to Brianne as she spent a lot of her childhood there. They brought their pup Chase, who happens to be my dog Samson's older brother! Yep, they share the same Mom and Dad, but come from a different litter.
The Wedding and Reception was out at The Grand Island Mansion. Which is just breathtaking! During the Ceremony, I always snap a picture of the Groom as his Bride walks down the isle. I was a little surprised by Kevin's expression, as it appeared blank. Some men, aren't as emotional or comfortable showing their feelings...so I thought...Moments into the Ceremony, during the readings, Kevin completely lost it and broke down crying! Apparently, the expression I initially captured, was simply trying to hold it in! It was absolutely so sweet and heart warming. I just LOVE when the guys cry! lol
There was so much to do at the reception from the movie theater room, billiards, the outdoor patio with the cigar rollers, and of course the dance floor. They had a great time. Brianne's only complaint was that it went by sooo fast!
We finished the night up with some night shots. Brianne and her bridesmaids opted (without any persuasion from me) to hope into the fountain in their dresses at the end of night. They were a fun bunch! Thanks guys!
I asked the girls to show me their matching shoes, and Devin got a cramp! lol
