Shelby and Brandon had the most fabulous wedding out at The Old Sugar Mill. Shelby is young, incredibly cute and totally hip, together, with her Mother, who works at a floral shop put together some of the most audacious details we’ve ever seen. Dave shot this wedding, and he, like me, completely thrives when shooting at The Old Sugar Mill. Shelby and Brandon are fierce, and that undoubtedly helps, but needless to say, the three of them made a great team.

So, meet Ella and David Jr., pretty much the cutest kids. ever. I don’t shoot a ton of family portraits, so it was a nice change of pace to work with the Clark family last night. I was so happy that Patty, aka Mom, was looking for lifestyle portraits rather than your traditional look here and smile. I actually heard David say “this is fun” at one point during the session. Mission accomplished!

Holy cow mama! I know you don’t do these often but they are AWESOME! I so hope to have photos of my (future) kids someday. You challenged yourself and TOTALLY succeeded!
Monica and Alex are long-time sweethearts and it’s safe to say their journey to this day was long awaited. Monica is the cousin of Vanessa, who’s wedding I photographed years back and am now honored to call her, and her Husband Jesse, my friend. It’s undeniable that Vanessa and Monica come from the same family pool, because Monica, like Vanessa, is incredibly sweet, warm and has a laugh that you can’t help but laugh with. Alex is Monica’s rock and together they have their cute son Eli, who’s cheeks you just wanna eat up. We had such an awesome time documenting their day at The Citizen Hotel, Saint John’s Church and at the Masonic Temple. It was a fabulous day!

Charlotte and Jared are married! Dave shot their wedding at Whitney Oaks Golf Course and as usual I’m super stoked on the fresh approach Dave takes with each couple. These images are different, unique and a complete depiction of Charlotte and Jared’s day and personalities.

Random Fact! The combination of Bride’s named Ashley and Groom’s named Derrick is really common for me this year. I have three! So Ashley and Derrick are adorable, obviously. They met through mutual friends while Ashley was visiting NY. Ashley and Derrick are pretty shy, but are both super sweet and I can’t wait for their big day!
